At The Fade Factory, we understand that a haircut can be stressful for A CHILD with sensory sensitivities. AFTER A LOT OF CONVERSATIONS, RESEARCH, AND MEETINGS, y we created THE FADE FACTORY SENSORY FRIENDLY EXPERIENCE. we transform OUR shop INTO A UNIQUE SPACE DESIGNED TO MAKE YOUR CHILD AS COMFORTABLE AS POSSIBLE DURING THEIR HAIRCUT. THIS EXPERIENCE WILL BE SPECIFIC DAYS AND TIMES. WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO MAKE THE EXPERIENCE AS PERSONAL TO YOUR CHILD'S NEEDS AS WE CAN. IT WILL YOU AND YOUR CHILD AND THE BARBER. WE WILL adjus BASED OFF OF YOUR PRE SCREENING QUESTIONNAIRE TO ENSURE THE NEEDS ARE TAILORED TO YOUR CHILD. Our experienced barbers are trained to prioritize your child's comfort, using gentle techniques and patience to build trust. Q- Can I stay with my child, and what is your policy on taking breaks if they get overwhelmed?
A- We highly encourage you to stay right by your child's side! We are completely flexible and can take breaks as often as needed. If your child becomes overwhelmed, we will pause immediately and follow your lead, whether that means a walk, a few minutes with a favorite toy, or rescheduling the last part of the cut.

Q- Is there a best time or day to book a session to ensure the shop is at its quietest?
A- Our sensory friendly experience is set days/times to make your child as comfortable as possible.

Q- What if my child can only handle a partial cut (e.g., just the neckline or bangs)?
A- That is perfectly fine. We will only do what your child can comfortably tolerate that day. Our goal is a positive experience, even if it means only getting the neckline done—we call that a successful session
