Jeff the barber is a Christian, a husband, a father of 4 boys, part time basketball coach, and dedicated barber. Jeff was initially introduced to barbering by an older family member in the early 90s. By the spring of 1999 he was offered his first position in a barbershop. Over the next 15 years his barber career would be extremely rocky. Sometimes not knowing if barbering would ever be the career he envisioned. His biggest break came in 2014 when he interviewed at south street barbers. It was a very popular shop in center city. It was there that he honed in on how to be a professional barber. Jeff’s main focus today is to bridge the gap between urban traditional barbering and the mainline community he services today….

TREY - ig @ treycutz_

Trey was born and raised in Philadelphia PA. He is also a US. Army veteran. Besides being a professional stylist/barber, Trey is a published professional photographer, with his work featured in numerous magazines. When sitting with Trey, expect friendly conversation, some laughs, and most importantly an amazing fade/style and confidence for any occasion!

DERRICK


Derrick has been in the barber industry for 15+ years. He graduated from Empire beauty school. He was born in Philadelphia, where his inspiration come from his mother.  She used to cut all five of her boys hair. His passion came from always be in the barbershop watching other barbers work.  Starting out from humble beginnings at the tender age of 14, Derrick has self taught himself. He has become a master barber and continues his journey here at fade factory.

lil jeff is THE OWNER JEFFS SON. He became intrigued with barbering watching his dad cut him & his 2 brothers hair, helping assist him in shops, seeing his uncle learn, he formed his passion seeing how satisfying it was too see the results of their hard work at the end of each cut. He studIED the art of barbering under his dad for about 5 years, on weekends, summers, and once school was finished. HE ATTENDED CENTRAL MONTCO TECH FOR HIGH SCHOOL AND EARNED HIS cosmetology LICENSE. lil jeff plans to continue to perfect his skills by always being open to learn, investing in his craft, & listening to his clients. one day he will take over. 


Dom

Dom is Jeff’s newest apprentice at the shop. He is the 4th barber at our shop to learn the craft under Jeff. He’s the up and coming barber on the mainline just wait and see. Gabe

gabe is an up incoming barber, currently balancing his passion for barbering with his studies as a college student-athlete at Gwynedd Mercy, Gabe never loses sight of his dreams. At just 19, he took a bold step into the barbering world, seeking guidance from experienced professionals like Jeff Handy, which fueled his motivation to excel. More than just a barber; he is a dedicated go-getter who thrives on improvement and creativity. As he continues to hone his skills, he strives to ensure that everyone who sits in his chair leaves feeling confident and looking his very best. With his unwavering commitment to artistry and customer care, Gabe is poised to become a standout in the barbering community.

Bryan

Bryan has had a passion for cutting hair since he was 18 years old. He began practicing on my friends and family, and continues to cut their hair to this day. He loves creating an experience for his  clients. He aims to  make each one walk out feeling like a new man.
